Description
In my re-imagining of the Greek myth, Pygmalion was a mermalien sculptor who carved a woman out of stone. After seeing the Finfaerians prostituting themselves, he no longer showed an interest in women, but his sculpture of Galatea was so realistic that he fell in love with it. He offered the statue gifts and even prayed to Venus to breathe life into his creation, until finally, she took pity on him and transformed Galatea into a living mermalien (as you see her depicted here, in transition). Oh, and that's Binky, the trained circus chick, perched on the sculptor's shoulder; she a-muses him.
