Hello Patrick Anthony Pierson, it truly was a pleasure to view one of the most unique artist gallery' I have ever viewed. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, this is truly a very modern futuristic piece of art. One of the most provocative pieces of work I have seen in quite some time. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, Wow, just amazing to view. This has received my V/F and personal select from another FAA members gallery! Michael Hoard

It is a totally unique depiction of the moment of Christ's physical death on Earth. The Hand of God is reaching to give Christ's body life again in Heaven. It is interesting the head of Christ is in a position of awakening rather than slumping over a breathless chest. It is also significant that you have spiked Jesus through the wrists rather than his palms. No bones were broken in Jesus' murder. He was beaten and gouged but no bones were broken. Had the palms been spiked almost certainly the fine bones in the hands would have been crushed and broken, not to also mention the weight of the man would have yanked the flesh apart. Your painting is more in keeping with forensic data. As always, your work is superb and very thought provoking, Patrick. Well done, Friend!

About Patrick Anthony Pierson

Patrick Anthony Pierson

Patrick Pierson: A TABLEAU OF DREAMS, NO LIMITS Born Pádraig Anton-Piers in 1953 on the outliers of Baile Átha Cliath, Éire (Ireland), the artist changed his name to Patrick Pierson in 1961 when he and his family immigrated to America. Initially represented and published by the Meisner Gallery in New York City, Patrick eventually settled in Palm Beach, Florida and established Fyshwerks Studio Gallery - a fine art studio, smithy, display gallery and publishing house that would become the birthplace for the creatures that were destined to inhabit the realm of Planet Zootopia.
