Mermaliens such as this female finandromorph have the ability to manipulate the properties of water to suit their needs; in this depiction, she will rise to stand and walk upon the surface of the sea, her mask - the Fin Cephalarvum - cloaking her identity, its orbicles trailing behind her, searching for empathic contact with other mermaliens.
About Patrick Anthony Pierson
Patrick Pierson: A TABLEAU OF DREAMS, NO LIMITS Born Pádraig Anton-Piers in 1953 on the outliers of Baile Átha Cliath, Éire (Ireland), the artist changed his name to Patrick Pierson in 1961 when he and his family immigrated to America. Initially represented and published by the Meisner Gallery in New York City, Patrick eventually settled in Palm Beach, Florida and established Fyshwerks Studio Gallery - a fine art studio, smithy, display gallery and publishing house that would become the birthplace for the creatures that were destined to inhabit the realm of Planet Zootopia.
